چکیده

Prototype vibration response data of high arch dam discharge structures inevitably mix various noises under the excitation, which adversely affects accuracy working modal identification structure. To effectively filter noise and reduce aliasing for better accuracy, this study proposes an improved threshold method based on wavelet threshold–empirical mode decomposition (EMD) random decrement technique (RDT) algorithm structures. On basis measured dam, is adopted to out most high-frequency white boundary accumulation effect EMD decomposition. Detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA) utilized low-frequency flow after The natural frequency damping ratio structure system are obtained by RDT algorithm. engineering examples show that proposed can accurately signal structure, retain characteristic information, improve recognition structural response, avoid complex ordering process system, ease parameter This be applied other large structures, as well.

A Novel Technique for Steganography Method Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm Optimization in Spatial Domain

This paper devotes itself to the study of secret message delivery using cover image and introduces a novel steganographic technique based on genetic algorithm to find a near-optimum structure for the pair-wise least-significant-bit (LSB) matching scheme. A survey of the related literatures shows that the LSB matching method developed by Mielikainen, employs a binary function to reduce the numbe...

A two-step method for damage identification and quantification in large trusses via wavelet transform and optimization algorithm

In the present study, a two-step approach for damage prognosis in long trusses is suggested in which the first step deals with locating probable damages by wavelet transform (WT) and static deflection derived from modal data with the intention of declining the subsequent inverse problem variables. Then, in the second step, optimization based model updating method using Artificial Bee Colony (AB...

Adaptive Wavelet Threshold Denoising Method for Machinery Sound Based on Improved Fruit Fly Optimization Algorithm

As the sound signal of a machine contains abundant information and is easy to measure, acoustic-based monitoring or diagnosis systems exhibit obvious superiority, especially in some extreme conditions. However, the sound directly collected from industrial field is always polluted. In order to eliminate noise components from machinery sound, a wavelet threshold denoising method optimized by an i...

TWO-STAGE METHOD FOR DAMAGE LOCALIZATION AND QUANTIFICATION IN HIGH-RISE SHEAR FRAMES BASED ON THE FIRST MODE SHAPE SLOPE

In this paper, a two-stage method for damage detection and estimation in tall shear frames is presented. This method is based on the first mode shape of a shear frame. We demonstrate that the first mode shape slope is very sensitive to the story stiffness. Thus, at the first stage, by using the grey system theory on the first mode shape slope, damage locations are identified in shear frames. Da...

Empirical Mode Decomposition Method Based on Wavelet with Translation Invariance

For the mode mixing problem caused by intermittency signal in empirical mode decomposition (EMD), a novel filtering method is proposed in this paper. In this new method, the original data is pretreated by using wavelet denoising method to avoid the mode mixture in the subsequent EMD procedure. Because traditional wavelet threshold denoising may exhibit pseudo-Gibbs phenomena in the neighborhood...
